'Brown Underwear Everywhere!': Airplane Forced to Take Off For a Second Time After Bouncy, Shaky Landing Nearly Sent Them Crashing
One pilot recently proved the infinite importance of air sickness bags, making the terrifying last-second decision to abort an extremely shaky landing at Spain’s Valencia Airport.
In a now-viral clip of the incident, first uploaded to Spanish-language transportation Twitter page @tuidelescribano on Sunday, the plane can be seen briefly touching down on the runway, its wheels immediately ricocheting back due to the region’s “strong winds,” per a translation of the post.
Despite taking two more tries at sticking the landing, the pilot — likely to the relief of everyone on board — decided to hit the skies again, circling back around the airport before heading back to the tarmac.
Though it appears the airplane’s subsequent attempt was a lot more successful than the first, one thing is certain — to paraphrase @munyaradzjiri, there must have been a whole lot of brown underwear on that flight.
